The LSI Model SW Spacer Wheel Assembly

The assembly meters product to control product spacing and system throughput. Its 6 1/4" diameter wheel and 1/2" wide rubber tire accurately control the flow of most round, oval and rectangular products.

The centerline of the tire is adjustable from 3/8" to 2" above the conveyor surface. Double stacked wheels are available to accommodate taller products.

The Model SW can be adjusted to accommodate various product widths. The surface of the tire can reach over the conveyor surface from 0" to 2''.

The standard DC motor and drive controller is designed for speeds from 40 IPM to 410 IPM. An optional AC motor with variable frequency drive controller is available.

The LSI Model SB Spacer Belt Assembly

The assembly consists of two opposed 1" wide, Linatex® coated timing belts that grip products from the sides. Used primarily for spacing products at the infeed end of a system, spacer belts provide up to 10 times more holding force than a typical spacer wheel.

The Model SB can also be used to support products from the sides for bottom labeling or to transfer products from one conveyor to another.

The Model SB is constructed using anodized aluminum plates for strength and durability. Stainless steel support shafts with ball bearings insure optimal performance.

Conveyor Installations

Model SB mounts to the T-slots in LSI's table top chain conveyor with 8 bolts and T-nuts.The standard AC motors and drive controller are designed for speeds from 400 IPM to 1600 IPM.

Encoder Option

The optional encoder assembly provides a signal for synchronizing labeling head speed to product speed, for bottom labeling applications.

The LSI Model SD Infeed Screw Assembly

The infeed screw assembly accurately meters, spaces and aligns products for labeling.

Designed for use in primary labeling applications such as consumer products labeling, pharmaceuticals labeling, home products labeling and cosmetics labeling.By precisely controlling product pitch, the Infeed Screw provides the maximum product throughput at any given conveyor speed, increasing efficiency and accuracy.

Screw profiles are custom designed for each product. In some cases, a single screw profile can be designed to accommodate multiple product configurations. Most applications require multiple screw change parts. Consult the factory for details.

A Dual Screw version is available to accurately align and meter oval or irregular shaped products.
